Soft cotton wrapped ring makes a terrific pet bird swing and a popular napping spot. Frayed cotton toys need to be trimmed regularly to prevent toe traps. Birds with overlong nails (this is generally when the nail has formed the letter C instead of a half moon shape) should have cotton rope toys removed from their cages until the nails are trimmed. With proper maintenance, cotton rope toys are a fun addition to your birds environment.
